Fair Food Detroit
Fair Food Detroit was a 2012 project aimed at bolstering the existing community food work happening in Detroit by providing networking, collaboration, and leadership development for many of the city’s food justice organizations.
Through this project, we partnered with the Detroit Food & Fitness Collaborative, a group of 40 organizations working to increase access to healthy food and create opportunities for all Detroiters to be physically active. Together, we joined forces to support policy work surrounding the Farm Bill in 2012. This project also supported the success of Double Up Food Bucks in Detroit.
