Shakir Bralock

As an Investment Manager for Michigan Good Food Fund, Shakir works closely with investors, structures investment deals, conducts due diligence, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for the collaborative. He facilitates investments in food and farm businesses across Michigan that meet Michigan Good Food Fund’s mission and performance targets, defined by the collaborative’s statewide community Stakeholder Board.

Shakir has 15 years of experience as a banking center manager, working at various banking centers throughout southeastern Michigan. Shakir was most recently a loan officer at a Michigan-based CDFI, working directly with entrepreneurs to secure lending and technical services for their businesses.

Shakir holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University, majoring in Finance and Marketing. Shakir and his wife have two daughters, ages 12 and 16, and he spends his time listening to music, watching sports, and traveling.
