Kellie Boyd

Vice President of People & Culture

As Vice President of People & Culture, Kellie not only oversees human resources and business operations, but she also leads the advancement of a values-driven culture that prioritizes the employee experience and supports the organization’s ability to achieve our mission of growing community health and wealth through food. 

Kellie brings more than two decades of executive leadership in nonprofits and a diverse educational background to this work. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology as well as master’s degrees in community agency counseling and business administration—all from Michigan State University. Kellie is also a licensed professional counselor, social worker, and certified human resources professional. 

Kellie lives outside Detroit in the Downriver area with her husband, children, and a rambunctious Cane Corso dog. Her family and she enjoy going to comedy shows and eating at different restaurants in a long-running hunt for the world’s greatest cheeseburger, craft beer, and French fries.
