Jean is the architect behind Fair Food Network’s business assistance offerings.
In this role, she leads business assistance and community outreach efforts for the Michigan Good Food Fund, a $30 million loan and grant fund created to finance healthy food enterprises that benefit underserved communities throughout Michigan.
Jean has been with Fair Food Network since its inception as its Director of Operations. Her leadership and management helped build the organization’s infrastructure, finance systems, communications, and personnel processes. Jean also brings 15+ years experience at Enlighten, an interactive agency in Ann Arbor, where she plays a key leadership role in production, project management, and business strategy. Jean also brings experience as a consultant and market researcher for a range of industries including financial services, utility, and governmental organizations.
Jean has a bachelor’s degree in business from Michigan State University with an emphasis in marketing. She lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she is active in the music and arts scene, producing community sing-alongs, and performing in a socially-conscious U.S/Canadian choir.
