Investment Manager, Michigan Good Food Fund
Raymond (RJ) Archambo is responsible for coordinating with investors, structuring investment deals, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. RJ works closely with clients and investors to facilitate successful investments that meet Michigan Good Food Fund’s mission and performance targets.

Vice President, People & Culture
As Vice President of People & Culture, Kellie not only oversees human resources and business operations, but she also leads the advancement of a values-driven culture that prioritizes the employee experience and supports the organization’s ability to achieve our mission of growing community health, wealth, and resilience through food.

Shakir Bralock
Director, Michigan Good Food Fund
Shakir leads the statewide loan fund, supporting food businesses that are increasing access to healthy food, creating good jobs, supporting local sourcing, and advancing environmental stewardship. He oversees the fund’s investment process and portfolio management, while also working closely with the Stakeholder Board to center community voice, vision, and accountability.

Alex Canepa
Senior Director, Policy
Alex directs Fair Food Network’s policy efforts in Michigan and works with the Fair Food Fund team to further the Fund’s policy priorities nationally. He also provides policy support and expert technical assistance to SNAP incentive programs across the country through the Nutrition Incentive Impact Hub.

Incentive Technology Manager, Double Up Food Bucks
Emily brings 20 years of food industry experience to Fair Food Network, leading nutrition incentive technology for Double Up Food Bucks Michigan and supporting programs nationwide through the Nutrition Incentive Hub. She partners with retailers to integrate benefits into point-of-sale systems and oversees the My Fresh Wallet app and card-based shopping technology.

Technical Assistance Manager, Michigan Good Food Fund
Erin works closely with food entrepreneurs to understand their challenges and goals as part of the needs assessment process. She collaborates with internal and external partners to identify the pre- and post-investment resources needed to ensure they are well-prepared for loan approval and long-term success.

Cassandra Fletcher-Martin
Chief Financial Officer
With deep experience in nonprofit finance, investment strategy, and operational leadership, Cassandra oversees Fair Food Network’s financial systems, reporting, risk and investment capital management. She ensures resources flow effectively to support healthy food access, resilient local food economies, and community-driven solutions.

Senior Fellow
Noah works with partners across the country to advance approaches that transform the way resources flow through the food economy. Noah pursues collaborations and opportunities that leverage food toward a fair and resilient future.

Randy Gerber
Accountant
Randy is responsible for administration of Fair Food Network’s finances and accounting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Western Michigan University and has experience in corporate finance and banking.

As People & Culture Manager, Melanie focuses on making it easier for the team to work efficiently and effectively while supporting a positive organization culture and enhancing Fair Food Network’s welcoming and inclusive workplace.

Program Ambassador, Double Up Food Bucks
Marlow is a community organizer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who builds community-based food systems through community gardening, skill sharing, and mutual aid. They are passionate about cultivating connections between community organizers and nonprofit professionals who are working towards liberation.

Rachel Hoh
Director, Double Up Food Bucks
Rachel leads the Double Up Food Bucks Michigan team as Director of the program. Rachel has been at Fair Food Network since 2020, first as the Senior Manager of Nutrition Incentive Technical Assistance at the Nutrition Incentive Hub.

Designer
Hien (like the ketchup with the z) is Fair Food Network’s designer, bringing creative design solutions to its family of brands. Hien has built brands across various industries from healthcare to cloud security.

Director, Finance
Beth maintains organizational and grant financial, accounting, and support services to meet the needs of Fair Food Network and its donors. She has served in Operations for various nonprofits, including as a Grants Analyst in Washington, D.C. for six years with National Wildlife Federation and World Wildlife Fund.

Director, Investments
Joel manages Fair Food Fund, the impact investing arm of the Fair Food Network that provides financing and business assistance to good food enterprises. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the fund’s investment portfolio and leads the due diligence and investment process for potential investment opportunities.

Prabhjit manages the growth, strategy, and risk of the fund’s portfolio, aligning his work with Fair Food Network’s mission. He collaborates with food and farm entrepreneurs, delivering tailored, holistic, borrower-first support and ensuring smooth loan closings, with a focus on providing equitable access for communities overlooked by traditional financing.

Erica leads community food programming at Fair Food Network, supporting nutrition incentive programs in Michigan and nationwide, as well as helping food and farm businesses strengthen local food economies. She also leads the development and delivery of tailored technical assistance to help food-based programs expand their impact and drive positive change in their communities.

As part of Fair Food Network’s development team, Adam supports all aspects of grant and donor management—from research and proposal development to final tracking and reporting. Adam also supports the Communications department with marketing writing and editing.

Stephanee oversees the development of foundation, corporate, and government support for Fair Food Network’s mission and programs. She is also responsible for building strong and sustainable relationships with Fair Food Network’s institutional funders.

As Development Operations Administrator, Kristen Szalontai (suh-lahn-tay) provides support for all fundraising operations, including database management, donor relationship management activity, and other fundraising efforts to support Fair Food Network in reaching its fundraising goals.

Jeremy Thomas brings over 15 years of expertise in public relations, strategic planning, and project management. Known for blending traditional strategies with innovative new media approaches, he delivers impactful solutions across events, crisis communications, marketing, and branding.

Gail supports the impact investing work of the organization. She is responsible for ensuring accurate and reliable data management and reporting to promote data-driven decision making and progress towards Fair Food Network’s impact-focused evaluation efforts.

Kendra works closely with the Double Up Food Bucks Michigan team, as well as the Nutrition Incentive Hub team to create and manage systems for tracking incentive activity and impact. She works across the organization to support data-driven decision making and equitable evaluation.

Retail Specialist, Double Up Food Bucks
Charles manages the growing portfolio of grocery stores that participate in Double Up Food Bucks, Michigan’s statewide healthy food incentive program. He also provides business assistance to retail enterprises through the Michigan Good Food Fund.

Manager, Nutrition Incentive Hub
As Program Coordinator for the Nutrition Incentive Hub, Alex provides support to the team and coordinates partner management, technical assistance, and communications projects. He works alongside Fair Food Network’s partners to co-create inclusive, timely, and creative resources for nutrition incentive practitioners.

Treasurer
Gary currently serves as an advisor to the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Community Leadership Network Fellows. He recently retired as a principal consultant with the American Institutes for Research in Washington DC where he supported the reform efforts of state education agencies. He serves as the Fair Food Network’s board treasurer.

Erik Bakker has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Loan Officer at Bank of Ann Arbor since 2022. He joined the bank in 2016 as the Executive Vice President and Manager of the Trust and Investment Management Group.

Oran B. Hesterman, PhD—Founder & Board Member at Fair Food Network—is a national leader in sustainable agriculture and food systems, a respected partner for policymakers, philanthropic leaders, and advocates, and a pioneer in building the good food movement as we know it today.

Board Member
Benita Melton is the director of the Mott Foundation’s Education program and has worked for the Foundation for more than 20 years. She has worked primarily on federal and state budget and tax policy issues, as well as strategies to help low- and moderate-income families save money and build assets.

Board Member
Kwaku Osei was the Co-Founder & CEO of Farmacy Food, a preventative healthcare startup focused on making health and wellness radically accessible and affordable. He is now the Chairman of Cooperative Capital, a community-based private equity fund that enables residents to pool their money to make promising investments within their community.

John Stewart’s career has been in technology with stints in non-profit research, academia, Internet service providers, Internet system suppliers, and autonomous mobile robotics for logistics and manufacturing automation. The bulk of his career has been at Juniper Networks where he currently serves as a Director of Product Management.

Russell Toris, PhD, is Senior Director of Software Engineering at Symbotic, where he leads teams building the software systems that coordinate large fleets of autonomous robots in complex logistics environments. He serves as a Board Advisor to CladisIQ, supporting AI and sensor technologies for early detection of natural disasters.
