Over the past 20 years, Emily has seen the food industry from nearly every angle – from non-profits to co-ops to for-profit businesses, as a farm hand, a dairy buyer, a produce manager, and a grocery logistics manager, among other positions. Before coming to the Fair Food Network she was the Chocolate Specialist at Zingerman’s Deli, where she worked with producers to procure exceptional and noteworthy types of chocolate, and planned events to educate customers about choosing quality products and about ethical issues in the chocolate industry.
