Cassidy leads the Double Up Food Bucks Michigan team as the Associate Director of the program. Her previous professional opportunities range from coordinating community health education seminars and performing in an educational theater troupe to offering educational support to bilingual students and students with cognitive disabilities.

A graduate of the University of Michigan’s Residential College, Cassidy served as an AmeriCorps health resource specialist at a network of community health clinics in Seattle, Wash. Cassidy lives in Detroit and loves the city, but also likes to escape to the Upper Peninsula with her mom or to her dad’s miniature donkey farm in rural West Michigan whenever she can.
