Cooking With Que
Detroit based "The Kitchen, by Cooking with Que" is owned by Quiana "Que" Broden who started eating a plant-based diet after she was diagnosed with a serious health condition. Eating a plant-based diet relieved her of the disease and inspired her to cook for and educate family and friends on its benefits. Cooking with Que’s mission is to teach people to eat to live; by introducing more plant-based meals into everyday living. Cooking with Que offers catering, prepared meals, and a café style sit down lunch at their kitchen in Detroit.
Financing Purpose & Date:
June 2020 financing and technical assistance is supporting Cooking with Que's plans to expand catering and prepared meal service in response to COVID-19 and beyond.
With Fair Food Fund support, Cooking with Que is providing meals to the Health Department of the City of Detroit and the staff at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in response to COVID-19.
