More than one year into the pandemic, it continues to affect nearly every corner of our lives. Hunger rates have surged as millions of families struggle to put food on their tables and American farmers are struggling.

We’re working with portfolio company Five Acre Farms to bring healthy food to those who need it most while supporting local farmers.

Who We Are

Five Acre Farms and Fair Food Network have worked together since 2016 toward a shared vision of harnessing the power of food to support families and farmers.

A national nonprofit, Fair Food Network is on a mission to grow community health and wealth through food. Its impact investing arm, Fair Food Fund, provides financing and business assistance to mission aligned businesses like Five Acre Farms.

Five Acre Farms keeps farmers farming and brings the best local food to more people. As leaders in the Local Food Movement, we are inspired to make an impact and are tenacious in our quest for a more robust, sustainable supply chain. We do this nationally with a network of local farms.
