As Development Officer, Lolita supports the efforts of the Fair Food Fund, an innovative arm of Fair Food Network. The Fair Food Fund invests in early stage entrepreneurs who are growing community health and wealth through food in order to improve healthy food access, ignite local economies and open opportunities in our most underserved communities.
Lolita brings over 25 years of experience to the Fair Food Fund, having roles in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Lolita began her career in finance and spent 14 years in business banking and as branch manager before transitioning to the nonprofit sector. Lolita led development efforts at Nonprofit Enterprise at Work, American Cancer Society, and the American Red Cross before joining Fair Food Network.
Lolita holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Michigan University and is a proud board member of the Boys and girls Club of Southeast Michigan. Lolita enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and enjoys being outdoors during the warm summer days. Lolita is happy to admit that she is obsessed with finding the best beach to plant her feet.
