Laura is passionate about using her interests in marketing technologies and digital communications to support equity initiatives, including access to affordable, healthy food.
Prior to joining Fair Food Network, Laura led marketing and communications strategy for nonprofit professional associations specializing in digital marketing campaigns and new technologies. Her background also includes communications and development experience at Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation in Brooklyn, New York, and the Promise Neighborhoods Institute at PolicyLink in New York.
Laura graduated from Centre College and earned a master’s degree in comparative policy studies from Loyola University Chicago. She lives with her husband and two cats in Detroit, Michigan and in her free time enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring Detroit.
