Entrepreneur Experience Manager

As Entrepreneur Experience Manager, Christina supports food entrepreneurs we work with through Michigan Good Food Fund. She helps entrepreneurs on their journey to grow their business and find paths to financing by connecting them with tailored business support and a network of lending partners.

Christina has fifteen-plus years in operations, social services, lending technical assistance, specializing in process improvement, client intake, and relationship management. Most recently, as ProsperUS Detroit’s business services manager, Christina was responsible for training small business graduates and borrowers, facilitating technical assistance projects and practical coaching, and enhancing Business Services programming. In addition to her experience in small business support, Christina is a former business owner of Yum Yum Doggy Treats. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in family community services from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. Christina is the co-chair of the New Economy Initiative/Neighborhood Business Initiative, dedicated to business development and growth in Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park. Christina’s educational and work experiences help her support entrepreneurs to overcome any hurdles they may face while working to start or expand their businesses. As someone with an entrepreneurial spirit herself, Christina knows firsthand what it takes to run a company and can offer support with intention, empathy and understanding.

Christina was born, raised, and currently resides in Detroit, Michigan with her loving husband and son. She attributes her work ethic to her most prominent motivation, her son. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through traveling, meditating, exercising, and giving back to the community.
