Triskeles is a 501(c)(3) organization in Exton, PA that offers youth programs the 5-county area. Our focus is to provide practical, experiential programs for youth, emphasizing personal contact with inspiring mentors/teachers while introducing participants to sustainable, healthy practices that prepare them for success in the future. Our youth have been engaged in learning healthy and interesting, creative skills largely guided by inspired volunteers who gave their time and energies to help us ‘co-create a sustainable future.
We have been steadily building Food for Thought over a six-year period from a small series of monthly activities to a full-scaled program spanning over three seasons. We have begun putting in and helping maintain gardens at a low-income housing development in Spring City and a Title I elementary school in Pottstown. In 2011 we are beginning a Food For All project to create gardens feeding people in need, in partnership with the Chester County Food Bank.
