Kensington Community Food Co-op
The Kensington Community Food Co-op is a movement of neighbors working to open a community-owned cooperative grocery store in the Kensington area of Philadelphia. Our mission is to provide healthy, quality food, products and services to our members and the community.
KCFC is building the membership and raising the funds necessary to open a grocery store. The scope, scale, and future of the project will be determined by how we can best serve our membership.
We currently distribute locally grown produce, meats, and dairy products to our members through a buyer's club and wholegrain non-perishables to the community at local farmers markets. We are fully certified and licensed as a mobile food vendor with the City of Philadelphia.
